I look back on that Monday after Thanksgiving and I wonder how on earth I was making it through the day to day. I look back and I realize that my health, my life and future was totally in God's hands.
I look at now and I can't believe that I have had Type One for five months. I look at now and it's actually really hard for me to imagine sitting down and just eating, I'm so used to doing math before hand.
I look forward and I wonder what I will say when the calendar says its November 27, 2018. I know my Mom and I have already planned on having a big celebration. But even we don't know what it'll look like.
Going down memory lane, here's the last picture that was taken of me before the diagnosis. I'm the one with the sunglasses and the big ski coat. I love my life, and I am so thankful that he's the God of all my days.
"For it is by Grace that you have been saved through Faith. And it is not of your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works so that none should boast. For we are HIS workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for GOOD works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should WALK in them." ~Ephesians 2: 8-10
